Richard A. Carter, M.D.
Dr. Carter is an honors graduate of Colgate University, and has subsequently received numerous awards and grants for his research. Before coming to Atlanta Cancer Care he was on the faculty of Emory University, Department of Hematology. Having done extensive research in the area of bone marrow transplantation, Dr. Carter has served as co-principal investigator in clinical trials, and has authored numerous reports, articles, and book chapters. Dr. Carter is board certified in hematology, oncology, and internal medicine.
Dr. Carter lives in Conyers with his wife and two young children.
