Amelia Zelnak, M.D.
Dr. Amelia Zelnak attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Morehead scholar and graduated with Highest Honors and Highest Distinction. Prior to joining Atlanta Cancer Care, she was on the breast oncology faculty at Emory University in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology. She has published multiple peer-reviewed research and review articles on breast cancer, and has been invited to speak at regional and national meetings on the management of breast cancer. She has also served as the principal investigator on numerous breast cancer clinical trials and serves on the Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta Advisory Council. At Atlanta Cancer Care, Dr. Zelnak is committed to developing novel clinical trials for the management of early-stage and metastatic breast cancer.
In her free time, Dr. Zelnak enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
