Treatment of Hairy Cell Leukemia

Treatment of hairy cell leukemia may include the following:

  • Watchful waiting when possible.
  • Rituximab.
  • Vemurafenib (or other BRAF inhibitors) with or without rituximab.
  • Immunotherapy (recombinant interferon alpha-2b).
  • Ibrutinib.
  • Moxetumomab pasudotox-tdfk.
  • Cladribine with or without rituximab.
  • Pentostatin.
  • Repeat treatment with cladribine or pentostatin.
  • Splenectomy.
